Luis A. Mercader

Director of Portfolio Operations

 

Luis is a private equity finance and operations executive with over 20 years of strategic, operational, and financial experience helping companies to generate top line growth, increase profitability, optimize working capital, and improve strategic positioning.  Most recently, Luis assisted Turnspire with the acquisition and carve-out of Infinity Engineered Products and served as the company’s interim CFO through the transition. 

 

Prior to joining Turnspire, Luis was a principal consultant with Etonien LLC, where he managed carve-out and post acquisition integration projects, as well as various due diligence, and interim CFO engagements for private equity firms.

 

Prior to Etonien, Luis was an Operating Executive at Corinthian Capital, a middle market private equity firm.  He was primarily responsible for assisting portfolio companies with setting strategic direction and business transformation initiatives.  Luis was also involved with add-on acquisition integrations, debt restructurings, and turnarounds.  In addition, he was also involved in establishing internal reporting processes and procedures at Corinthian Capital.

 

Prior to joining Corinthian Capital, Luis held various finance leadership roles at Schering-Plough Corporation (now a part of Merck & Co.), Ingersoll Rand, Security Technologies Division (now Allegion PLC), and Procter & Gamble.

 

Luis is a graduate of the Fuqua School of Business (M.B.A.) and Duke University (A.B.).  He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
